It has been wonderful to form a duo with the talented Julie Simpson. Julie is a singer songwriter and folk musician based in Shefford, Beds and playing in various bands and solo in the Herts and Beds music scene. A gifted songwriter and performer in her own right, I have really appreciated her wonderful fiddle playing on many of my songs.
Bruce Springsteen uses the analogy of 1 + 1 with musicians is so much more than math, it becomes larger than its individual parts. Julie brings to my songs so much more than another instrument but rather another interpretation of the song.
